Amazing experience. We did the afternoon tour which was pretty full but didn’t feel crowded. We had to look for quite a while to find orca, but finally did (pod T-137) and got to enjoy time with them for over 30 minutes as they swam around us. Got lots of pictures of them as well. Our pilot Trevor and naturalist Brooke shared so much information about the pod and orcas in general. It was interactive and engaging. Once we were headed back, Brooke made sure to talk to every group on the boat to answer questions about what we saw, an orca questions, and even helped us find a place to eat when we got back and recommended how we get to Victoria BC the next day. Also saw some seals on the way back as well. Highly recommend wearing warm, layering, and dry protective clothes-got soaked by a splash and the ride back was cold on my bottom half. Make sure you have a warm hat and gloves as well. Also bring drinks or food if you think you need them. Highly recommend this tour to anyone.

The place is beautiful, we had no luck. Just 1 whale from distance in 3,5 h of tour. But the worst part was that the operator did not check the booking coming from Viator on time, when we arrived at destination the tour had been cancelled and we did not fet any notification (not from the operator and not from Viator). We had to soend the night and waiting for the next tour, because it was too late to travel further ahead. The next morning we took the boat, nice staff, but no luck, not as much as expected (the operator told us we would have seen orcas and whales)…

We had a great time on the Outer Island Excursions 2! We saw 2 different pods of orcas, tona of sea lions, and bald eagles. Captain Drew was very knowledgeable and friendly, I would highly recommend booking a tour.
