Anchorage Aurora Quest - Northern Lights Photo Tour

Overview
This is the longest-running northern lights photo tour in the Anchorage area. Highlighted by Iceland Air's Stopover magazine as one of Anchorage's "Hidden Hot Spots" in its Spring 2019 issue (page 64), this tour is designed to maximize fun and opportunity with the aurora borealis.

We provide a free 3-day forecast service that includes both the aurora borealis and weather forecast. This tour increases your chance of aurora viewing success by allowing you to reserve as many nights as you like [space available] and only finalizing payment 48 hours in advance under the Reserve Now & Pay Later system. We pick you up at your accommodations and take you on a nocturnal adventure to witness the magical lights rippling over snowy peaks and dancing across dark waters. It's a great option for business travelers to Alaska during August to early May. This tour accommodates serious photographers to sightseers. Photographic instruction and aurora portraits are provided for those who desire.

Carl and Ben were amazinggggg! 100% weā€™ll worth the money. To see the northern lights is super hard if itā€™s not peak season especially in anchorage. If itā€™s not a really strong one you have to know where to go, when to go, how to get there, the terrain to drive on/ travel throughā€¦ and Carl makes that all go away. He takes care of all of that with this tour. Ben is PHENOMENAL. He is such a great photographer, personable, & patient. We stay out at least an hour longer then we should have just so we could get our glimpse. Amazing tour.

This Northern Lights tour was amazing! It was a bucket list item for me and Carl helped to make it happen! Carl was very knowledgeable and patient as I initially heard Anchorage is not a good place to see the lights, but as you will see by some of our photos, it is! I learned so much about Auroras from the nature part of it to how to photograph them. It was wonderful to know too that they would not run the tour if there was not a probability to see the lights. Very creative with our photos and we got some warm drinks and snacks! Highly recommend!
