2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where you’ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

Took this tour on October 24, 2024. We were a group of 10 lead by Milton, our driver. He had a wealth of knowledge on the area and shared interesting stories on his childhood memories growing up on the Navajo reservation. We saw wonderful views of Horseshoe Bend and a couple in our group actually got engaged there! Words can't describe how beautiful Lower Antelope Canyon is. Pictures cannot do it justice. It is awe inspiring! Put this tour on your bucket list! Be sure to use Grand Canyon Adventures!

An amazing trip to Antelope Canyon with stops along the way, Page Canyon among the stops, lunch that was perfect, Glen Canyon Dam where we had lunch alfresco..then an to Antelope Canyon where we had an amazing tour. Our guide, Rocky, definitely knowledgeable in the geography the forestry and life in general, definitely a raconteur keeping us all enthralled with his Cowboy poetry, his philosophy on life and keeping us in line and out of mischief..A long day, lots of snacks and bathroom breaks..

The whole tour was fabulous. It was definitely the highlight of my days in Arizona. Bec was an outstanding guide-full of knowledge about the area. She was great at keeping us all together and took everyone’s different activity levels into account. I also appreciated the ability to have a sandwich on gluten free bread, and the availability of gluten free snacks. I have been on numerous multi day trips with different groups and my dietary needs were not considered at all, despite them asking about dietary restrictions. The van was very clean and comfy! I highly recommend this tour and will be back one day and take it again!
