What To Expect
1
Navajo Nation
Travel through one of the most biodiverse stretch of highway from Flagstaff at 7000 feet, the Navajo Nation, and the red rocks of Glen Canyon before arriving at Horseshoe Bend
2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

We had booked tour of Horseshoe bend and Antelope Canyon. We were very pleased by the quality of the van and amenities on board. Our guide (Jen) gave clear and impactful explanations all the way long making the 2.5h drive entertaining. Food provided for lunch was also very fresh and tasty, far from the boring picnic lunch you usually find when you go on a tour group. You can book safely!

The Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend are pretty far away from Flagstaff. (About 2.5 hour's drive) But with adequate stops at some view spots or shops for us to stretch our legs, and a really friendly and interesting guide, Brad, it was never boring. He talked about some history and mythical stories of the tribal people (hopi and navajo), which really gives depth to the tour. Of course, the antelope canyon and horseshoe bend are marvelous art works of the nature.

Just took this tour, Maggie was a wonderful guide who's knowledge enriched our entire experience. Not only was she a wealth of information on Page, but she gave excellent suggestions on things to do, places to see, restaurants to eat at while in Flagstaff. The sites themselves were beyond breathtaking that words cannot describe. We had ample time at all locations, and got to see everything on our wishlist and more! Could not recommend this tour enough!
