The tour picked us up at our hotel in Flagstaff. On the way to Antelope Canyon, our tour guide pointed out interesting landmarks and points of interest on the Navajo reservation. We started our tour at Horseshoe Bend and watched the boats on the Colorado River motoring around. From there we went to Glen Canyon Dam and spent an hour or so touring the visitor center. We ate lunch here outdoors on the lawn of the visitor center and enjoyed the day. Lunch was sandwiches from a local deli and they were good but the pasta salad and fruit plate was really lacking in quantity. We felt like they cheaped out on the pasta salad and fruit as it was maybe big enough for 4 people, not 12. So everyone politely took just a little. In fairness there was lots of snacks and water on the bus to supplement lunch, but if you are going to offer pasta salad and fruit BUY ENOUGH FOR EVERYONE IN THE TOUR TO GET 2 OR 3 SCOOPS SO IT IS ACTUALLY CONSIDERED A SIDE! After lunch and the dam we drove through Page which was fun and got to see this very unique town built for the dam builders. I enjoyed the drive through Page, especially the street with 14 churches, in a row, on it. We arrived at the canyon and watched a traditional Navajo Hoop Dance. Our tour guide then got us in line and ready and we were the first group in our 2:15 time slot to go into the canyon. the red rock was beautiful and our guide gave us tips and tricks on how to take awesome photos of the canyon. After seeing all the sights and getting the interesting insights from our tour guide we settled in for our 2 hour trip back to Flagstaff. I took this opportunity to take a nap and woke up refreshed back at our hotel. For me it was all about the canyon and Horseshoe Bend and the damn were nice BUT the canyon was just WOW!!!!! Yes, I was a little peeved about the ridiculously small sides at lunch and rightly so thought the day was great and not having to drive and getting to nap on the way back was priceless!

Tour guide named Ryan was so nice. This was well worth the money, I had a blast. You will never get another experience like this. You can take some amazing pictures too. 11/10 tour. Iā€™m still a teen and I enjoyed the stories and sights.

Myself and my 13yo thoroughly enjoyed this day trip! We we're picked up at our hotel in Flagstaff and in a group of 10 people with our tour guide Jen. She was bubbly, enthusiastic and ready to go on time! As we drove through the Babbitt Ranch and Navajo reservation, she provided vast knowledge of the state of Arizona, the city of Flagstaff, environmental climates and history of the native Indian tribes. Her guide experience showcased her education, life experiences and vast collections of historical reference. When we went to Horseshoe Bend, we spent 45 mins there, which - for the walk down and walk back up the steep trail I only wish we had more time. (I'm from the mid-west, elevations take effect on me and slow me down!) We traveled onward to the Glen Canyon Dam for lunch - which was handmade with pasta and fruit! Not cheaply put together. I only wish I knew it was whole grain bread,as my son is picky and I felt bad he just ate the contents. Next we gathered to the Navajo Canyon Tour company for Antelope Canyon (upper). We had Jazz, who was incredible!! She showed us all the great spots to take a picture, how to change the lighting to get the colors you actually saw. All in all,I'm thoroughly impressed and would recommend, as well as come back to them for a tour again! I just wish we had more time to shop (only 10-15 mins), and visit the Bend. Kind of rushed.
