What To Expect
1
Navajo Nation
Travel through one of the most biodiverse stretch of highway from Flagstaff at 7000 feet, the Navajo Nation, and the red rocks of Glen Canyon before arriving at Horseshoe Bend
2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

Sorry, my wife and I were heat exhausted after the walk at Horseshoe Bend and could not join the Antelope Canyon tour. Our van driver/guide Molly was amazing and very helpful the entire trip. Can we get a refund for the Antelope Canyon entrance fee?

Hi Amado, We are terribly sorry that the heat effected you during your time with us. Our small tour company and guides do our best to be as prepared as possible for the elements encounted by providing plenty of water, sunscreen, umbrellas for shade, and accurate communication with what you may encounter on a given day. We have a partnership with Antelope Canyon that gaurentees access to this area each day. In order to continue this healthy partnership, we must communicate and pay for the exact number of guests that will be joining us 48 hours prior to arrival at Antelope Canyon. Unfortunately, they will not refund for a last minute cancellation since our time allocation is one of the most sought after to experience Antelope Canyon. We will certainly take your review as a reminder to see if we can improve any of these elements of the Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend tour in the future.

Another great experience with Grand Canyon Adventures. We saw Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon this time and both were breathtaking. Our tour guide Ryan S. was extremely knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful. Would highly recommend this professional tour company to anyone who wants to maximize their visit to the fullest.

Molly was an awesome tour guide and extremely informative, she kept us entertained throughout the entire trip with so many facts about the geology and culture of Northern Arizona. She cared so much for our group and was open for any requests and questions regarding the tour. 10/10 would recommend to friends and family, I will for sure book another tour in the future!
