2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

Brad our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Day started at 8 sharp and headed to Horseshoe Bend then Antelope Canyon. Stop at Glen Canyon Dam visitors center for lunch, and plenty of stops for restroom breaks. Horseshoe Bend was okay... Nice view but thought was somewhat overrated. Long steep hike and longer uphill for a quick picture. Antelope Canyon was spectacular. Local tour guide takes you on a over hour tour, helps with camera settings and takes pictures for you at the perfect locations. She was awesome. Pictures were great. Sandwich, pasta salad, and some fruit provided for lunch, plenty of chips, cookies and ice cold water all day. Brad was great. Only thing about tour is, it is a looong day. Over 8 hrs with about 6 riding in van. Otherwise was great.

There is a bit of wait at Antelope Canyon with the volume of tourists. But the astounding walk through the canyon was worth the wait. Our guide was very knowledgeable, he even assisted us on camera settings to capture the colors of the canyon. It would be best to listen to the guides and follow instructions to avoid unnecessary delays within the group and the groups behind you.

The hike to Horshoe Bend is a bit strenuous, especially during summer. Our guide was very helpful and making sure we were well. The view was breathtaking quite literally!.

This tour was awesome but what was even better were the guides. We had an issue in the morning and did not think we were going to make the tour and they were so wonderful and accommodating. We ended up making it to the tour and it was great!!!! Highly recommend!
