2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

Overall, my family had a great day trip to Horseshoe Bend and Antelope canyon with the Grand Canyon Adventures. Our guide, Zoe, was very knowledgeable about the areas, a safe driver, and always making sure our needs were met. The vehicle was very clean inside as well as the outside. My kids were happy with the variety of drinks and snacks. I would definitely recommend the Grand Canyon Adventures.

If you're staying in Flagstaff Grand Canyon Adventures is the way to go if you want to visit Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon. The places are far away so having someone else drive you is comforting so you can take in the sights and relax. Our guide, Ryan, was amazing! He provided so much history and insight during our drive which made it more exciting to know what we were seeing. He knew the great spots for pictures if you wanted help and was an all around easy going guy. Overall, very worth it to have someone else do the heavy lifting for this kind of day. Be sure to bring some cash so that you can tip your guides at the end; they're driving you for two hours both ways and are super informative, show them some love :) *Vegetarian lunch options! *Be aware that by the time you get to Antelope Canyon with the tour it will be busy and when you first enter it seems like a hundred people are there but it thins out.

This was my most memorable part of our entire trip! Antelope Canyon has been one of the default screensavers on our chromecast for what seems like ever and being able to see it in person and then take my own photos was absolutely worth it! We were in Flagstaff for a few days visiting the Grand Canyon and I'm so glad we took a whole day to use this tour. Lunch, snacks and water were all provided which made for an easier excursion. I wish we could have stayed a little bit longer at Lake Powell but it was a nice place to stop for restrooms and to have lunch. We chose to drive to the office versus being picked up from the hotel since we had to check out anyway but I know that was an option. The drive was beautiful and our driver and guide, Jen, was extremely personable and very knowledgable. Our only complaint from the entire day was how she kept inputting her own political views into the drive. While I found it interesting, I could tell the rest of the group was at least a little uncomfortable. Another tour guest made a few comments and my boyfriend ended up just putting in his headphones and listening to music on the way back home. Overall, I would still recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon!

Thanks so much for reviewing your trip with us! We certainly value all feedback so we can improve our tours in any way. With such diverse groups on our tours, we as guides absolutely have a rule to avoid interjecting any personal viewpoints, especially when it comes to politics and religion. Please be assured this will be addressed. We are so very happy that you all were able to create lasting memories in this beautiful part of the country, and thank you again for your valuable feedback.
