2
Horseshoe Bend
Next, it's off to Horseshoe Bend. Take an approximate 0.75-mile (1.2-km) hike that brings you to one of the best overlooks. At a point not far downstream from the Glen Canyon Dam, the Colorado River meanders around a rock promontory, creating the horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. As you approach the edge, take in the wonderful view. Please note: You'll hike a total of 2 miles (3.2 km); comfortable walking shoes are strongly recommended.
3
Glen Canyon Dam Overlook
Enjoy amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch at Glen Canyon Dam Overlook.
4
Antelope Canyon
At Antelope Canyon, follow your Navajo guide through a narrow slit in the earth where youā€™ll see the sculpted sandstone cliff. Sunlight from overhead creates shafts of light that pass into the canyon, making it even more beautiful. Descend ladders into the depths of the canyon to discover more of this serene place, and take photos with help from your guide about using the right settings on your camera for the light and the best angles for taking interesting shots. Antelope Canyon is a photographers dream.

We had an absolutely AWESOME experience! The destinations of Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyons (despite the crowds) were beautiful - words can't describe the sights. That said, you could see those on your own or even have a choice of at least a few tour companies - but having used Grand Canyon Adventures and having Maggie as a guide we realized two things. First, by going on your own you would miss so much of the stories and facts that provides a better understanding of where you are - not just AT Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon - but from Flagstaff to the destinations and back. It was like having a very knowledgeable and accommodating family member showing us their hometown. We've been on a several guided tours and had some great guides - but Maggie really moved the bar up several notches! From the minute she picked us up to the minute she dropped us off, she was continuously sharing her knowledge and insights, while ensuring that every guest was comfortable and had everything they needed. She just made the entire time a more fulfilling and enjoyable experience and we can't thank her enough. She had the perfect amounts of humor, knowledge, friendliness and professionalism. This company obviously knows how to find great guides and really does it right. We'll be using them again when we bring more visitors up to Flagstaff!

We went on the Antelope Canyon/Horseshoe Bend Tour with Jennifer. First, she was so knowledgeable about everything! She has a lot of guide experience and made the trip great! Then the Horseshoe Bend was amazing! Our lunch by Antelope Canyon was very tasty and plentiful. Going into the lower canyon took our breath away! It was so incredibly beautiful! We are so glad we took this tour! It is definitely a highlight of our Southwest vacation!

All other reviews said there are always a lot of people here, and they were correct! And the walk down to - AND BACK FROM - the edge is a labor. However, it is well worth seeing this. Don't miss it if you are in the area.
