I was a bit apprehensive about the price and the length of the tour as we have two hard to please teenagers. My fears were completely unwarranted. This was the best tour we took on our trip out west (Sedona, Grand Canyon & Las Vegas). Our tour guide Katherine picked us up right on time at our hotel. From there we picked up another family in Flagstaff so there was only 7 of us in the bus for the day. Katherine was so knowledgeable. She answered all our questions, was extremely accommodating with bathroom breaks and even made a couple of extra stops along the way, so we got to see more than the trip describes. Katherine was fabulous and made the tour for us. Our Navajo guide Vere was great. Antelope Canyon has gotten really popular due to the internet, so there were alot of tours going on at the same time. Vere made sure that we were able to get tons of great pictures without other people in them. Vere was also a wealth of information about the canyon. We learned so much!! I would take this tour again in a heartbeat. Everything was perfect. Lunch at the Glen Canyon Dam was great, really nice little visitors center there. We were definitely on a schedule, but we didn't feel rushed at any point. This is a fairly active tour, there is a lot of walking, but plenty of bus time to rest as well. The day went by so fast. Don't worry about the length of the bus ride. On the way up, it's broken up by stops. On the way home you will fall asleep or just be happy to veg. My entire family gave this tour two thumbs up.

Great ventures was an awesome tour company! Our leader Alan was phenomenal - very informative, patient, friendly, and accommodating. We were picked up at our hotel in Sedona at 6:05am then picked up the fellow people. Many rest stops along the way. First stop was horseshoe bend, very hot but very beautiful. Next stop was a dam and a photo opt. Then stopped for lunch at a visitor center area that had a view of lake Powell (picnic lunch supplied) however we packed our own lunch. Our final destination was Antelope Canyon. We were handed off to a Navajo tour guide who drove us to the canyon in a rugged truck (about 7-10 min drive). The tour was amazing!! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend, one of the coolest things we have ever seen. The tour was about 90 min. We then headed back to Sedona. The day was long, it was a long drive however highly recommend. Bus was not very air conditioned, hot at times so definitely bring layers. We were between this company and Viator, and we are so glad we went with Great Ventures. They were very friendly and helpful on the phone to answer our questions and booking - not pushy at all! Alan was an excellent guide. If in Sedona and have the time, definitely recommend this tour with this company!
