Overview

Located southeast of Lower Antelope canyon by the gateway town of Page, AZ. This part of the canyon is chiseled out by millions of years’ worth of flood erosion and impactful winds on its sandstone, enough to sculpt out the iconic "X" shape that aptly named the canyon. Canyon X is a relatively new scenic tour and the lesser-known cousin of Upper/Lower Antelope Canyon, which results in fewer visitors by comparison to the other two.

Canyon X is a nice mixture of the characteristics of both Upper and Lower canyon, with the Upper’s feature of pillars of light and the Lower’s steepness. Canyon X is also deeper than the other two by comparison, and with it brings ample photo opportunities. It truly is a great vacation spot for photography as well.

Travel Tips:
-It is very dry in the desert region; please remember to stay hydrated, especially during hot weather.
-Please dress according to the time, season, and weather of the activity date. Comfortable outdoor shoes are strongly recommended.
-Sun protection recommended for sunny days: hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, etc.

We had an amazing guide that personalized the beauty, history, geology, Navajo (Diné) traditions creating a memorable cross cultural appreciation for an incredible, memorable, spiritual experience. Our guide, Van, also proved to be skilled photographer on all the phones given to him! Highly recommend a visit to Antelope "X" Canyon. The only negative was our tickets were not transmitted to the company but we able to clear it up.

It was an amazing experience with our family of 7. Even our little ones enjoyed it. The team was very nice and welcoming. The cave tour was very impressive! The amount of time spent was just perfect. Heads up there's a long stairway to get there so the elders need to be aware. It was a struggle for our senior parents to get back up. Otherwise it was all worth it!

Great tour of the canyon. I would have liked to have learned more information about the history and cultural significance of the area. Many photo opportunities abound. Wear good shoes and layers as weather in plains area windy and colder than in canyon. Reasonable prices and less crowded. Be sure to look for signs of tour location in white sign by road near mile marker 308 as gps had wrong location. You drive your own vehicle into the area.
