Itās hard to be negative towards our guide Cat, cause I think most of the problem is with the way the tour is organized. First we stopped at the Navajo trading post for a break but werenāt given enough time to shop. Next stop Horseshoe Bend. We were given 30 minutes, which it took about 10-12 minutes to hike there and back! Enough time for 2-3 pics and you have to hustle back. Anyone older would never be able to do this. Then we moved on to Glen Powell dam for only 10 minutes. Our guide called in our lunch at Steer 89. All you got to pick from was turkey or ham sandwiches and salad. A bit of a problem for picky children. Then we got there and it wasnāt even ready! Final stop Antelope Canyon. Although it is very beautiful, you are herded thru like cattle by a Navajo guide and you donāt get much time. All in all, a very overpriced tour. Youāre better off to take an antelope canyon tour separately in the town of Page. PS Cat was very friendly, but only made the tour primarily about geology. I appreciate her passion, but this can get very old for most people, especially with kids.
