It’s hard to be negative towards our guide Cat, cause I think most of the problem is with the way the tour is organized. First we stopped at the Navajo trading post for a break but weren’t given enough time to shop. Next stop Horseshoe Bend. We were given 30 minutes, which it took about 10-12 minutes to hike there and back! Enough time for 2-3 pics and you have to hustle back. Anyone older would never be able to do this. Then we moved on to Glen Powell dam for only 10 minutes. Our guide called in our lunch at Steer 89. All you got to pick from was turkey or ham sandwiches and salad. A bit of a problem for picky children. Then we got there and it wasn’t even ready! Final stop Antelope Canyon. Although it is very beautiful, you are herded thru like cattle by a Navajo guide and you don’t get much time. All in all, a very overpriced tour. You’re better off to take an antelope canyon tour separately in the town of Page. PS Cat was very friendly, but only made the tour primarily about geology. I appreciate her passion, but this can get very old for most people, especially with kids.

This was a trip well worth the price. Our guide at Antelope Slot Canyon was very knowledgeable & knew all the right places to stand to get amazing pictures. Aaron was our driver/guide for the day and he was also very knowledgeable. Pictures don't do either Horseshoe Bend or Antelope Slot Canyon justice. These are definitely must see for yourselves places! Wear comfortable shoes as there is a lot of walking, especially at Horseshoe Bend.

The day just flew by. Catherine was our tour guide and you would think she had a PhD in history. She was very positive in describing the Navajo culture and went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a great time. The horseshoe bend was breathtaking. The antelope slots canyon felt surreal. There was an independent tour guide (Leland from the Navajo tribe, I believe) for the antelope slot canyon. He knew where all the great spots were and would take the best photos for each person in our group. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend this trip. And if you get Catherine, say hi from the Sutton sisters!
