We did a tunnel tour of downtown Houston. Our guide, Vanessa, was awesome! She knew so much about the history of the city. It was awesome. And who knew there was an entire city underneath the city?? Great experience!!

The tour gave a very detailed synopsis of the history of Houston, and it was a lot of fun exploring the underground complex that is vital for so many workers in the financial district. It is surprisingly cosmopolitan, and in some aspects superior to the shopping districts topside.

I took the day off to take my family on this unique Houstonian experience and it did not disappoint! This tour takes you through the underground city. Our tour guide had such interesting information and stories about the tunnels and the city. There is no way we could have gone by ourselves to the tunnels and seen everything we did without getting lost. My family had never done a tour like this and cannot wait to visit again. Photos and recommendations were a great bonus!
