Esperson building history was interesting. However the tour ended nearly 1.5 miles from the beginning point, tour guide was disparaging of people who live in city high rises, local politicians and local sports teams. Most places on the tour are what was there pre covid

Hello Nicole, We want to make it clear to our future customers what our company is about, and what you are about.... Not only is our company number 1 ranked in Houston, but we are partnered with the Mayor Turner's Tourism Board, numerous non-profits including St. Lukes and the Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center, and with the sports community including the Astros, hence Astroville Tours.... As a proud Houston locally owned small-business, I can confidently say that our staff would NEVER "disparage" any of the local sports teams, players, or coaches, and that your first-hand account here is a false narrative, or in other words, a 100% lie. In addition, our tunnel tour ends four (4) blocks away from the starting spot, not 1.5 miles away. Downtown Houston is only about 1.5 miles wide so if your "claim" was true you would have ended up in another portion of the city. Our guide offered to walk you back to the starting spot or to direct you to a place to eat or somewhere else to visit. You however, wanted to take your visitors back to their hotel by the convention center. Our guide gave you clear directions how to arrive there. Furthermore, we want to note to our future clientele that our company has been trusted by numerous sky-rises and petroleum/energy corporations in Houston to not only show around their staff/residents in Downtown, but to successfully pitch their newcomers on why Houston is most innovative/culturally infused city in the state, if not all the United States. As such, we would NEVER "disparage" any of Houston's skyscrapers, high rises, or buildings. This is complete nonsense and another example of your false narrative, or in other words, a 100% lie. It seems that you must have had a personal problem with our guide on the day of your tour. We have further investigated this "review" with the other guests on tour and no one else had any complaints. On security cameras from our partners' buildings, you were seen on your phone and texting a majority of the tour (even from the beginning). It also shows you ignoring your group which consisted of your "in laws" and husband. Your condescending tone and complete lack of facts probably isn't even worth responding to, however our company is dependent on reviews and the trust of our visiting clientele. As such, we have decided to respond. We also encourage you to seek professional help with respect to honesty, humility, and respect which is what our company and the city of Houston take great pride in doing.
