You'll descend 100 feet into another version of paradise -- one hidden even from the people of Hawaii for centuries. Atlantis Submarines Kona offers a journey aboard a 48-passenger submarine. Guests will discover an 18,000-year-old, 25-acre fringing coral reef, which boasts a vibrant ecosystem. Passengers view coral formations and tropical fish.Headset providing narrations in Japanese, Korean, Mandarin and Spanish are available upon request at no additional cost. Our escorts will assist you to our shuttle vessel from our Atlantis office which will take you out to the submarine.

Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Very cool to be on a submarine. Great way to expand the possibility of seeing some cool wildlife.

This was a cool idea. You get to go down, see fish, reefs, shipwrecks, but I just did not have as much fun as I had expected to. The windows aren't really lined up well for you to remain seated, you have to lean forward quite a bit to see things. The staff was great. I just didn't really enjoy the experience overall.

We went on the submarine adventure for my birthday activity on Feb 9 and had a great time. The guide was funny and entertaining and also shared a lot of interesting information. (I believe his name was James). We saw a lot of fish, 2 shipwrecks, a couple of reef sharks, and went down to 109ft! It was a really cool experience and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a unique experience that takes up a small part of your day while in Kona!
