I've been living in Austin for 7 years, and I've never explored that part of town. It's amazing how many things I discovered and how much more learning opportunities I opened for myself with this tour! Douglas is an amazing guide who not only talks but listens - I got answers to all my questions. This tour must become a part of the Keep Austin Weird curriculum!

We scheduled this tour on a whim, and couldn't have been more pleased that we did! We had walked a similar path the day before, bypassing the art. Eileen did an amazing job sharing the history, the styles, and stories behind Austin's wall art. Our walk home we "saw differently" and appreciated more the artists' talents. Definitely take the couple of hours to experience a different side of Austin.

Douglass our guide could not have been better. This is a walking tour so be ready to walk for about 2 hours or so. We say a lot of the street murals and graffiti (I know, were not supposed to call it that) and Douglass was extremely knowledgeable and had great insights regarding the artwork and the talented artists who were and are responsible for helping to enhance the landscape all around the City. This is most certainly a must do if you’re into learning more about the city and some of the “off the beaten path” options around town.
