Tour guide gave great history lesson on the Amish culture. The food and hosts at the dinner were excellent.

The best part of the tour was lunch at an amish home. The hostess was very friendly and willing to answer questions about amish life and the meal was very good. However, the tour guide seemed to be in an extreme hurry to get the tour over and done. While knowlegable about amish life, he drove very fast and made no stops to allow us to view the countryside. The tour was advertised to last about 3 hours and we finished in just over 2hours.

We're sorry to hear you were disappointed with some aspects of the experience. It is possible that you might have gotten some of the details crossed with the Amish Immersion experience we also offer, which does stop at various Amish properties but doesn't include the meal. That tour is 3 hours, but the lunch tour, which is accurately described as one stop at an Amish host home, is listed as 2 hours. We never want our guests to be rushed and emphasize to our guides not to do so. We take your feedback seriously and will look into the details of your particular experience.
