This was a treat for my Aunt who is visiting from NY. Our guide, Mike was very knowledgeable about the history of Amish so it was a most interesting and knowledgeable experience. We drove through the Amish countryside and ended up with Emma, our host. Emma is charming and welcoming. She has three children, a year plus toddler girl who is very cute, a four year old boy and another school age boy who was in school. Emma prepared a most delicious meal with mostly ingredients that they grew in their garden. We got to understand some of their customs and way of life. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, in fact, this is my second time with this type of tour. The first time I learned some different things about their lifestyle. I learned that the Amish folks are very simple and friendly people. I would most definitely come again.

It was just a wonderful time having lunch with the Amish family who cooked for us. Our tour guide, Dale, was terrific. He really knows his history and he is a great story teller.
