Very interesting museum of the family business history and observation points of the fascinating process of making tabasco sauce. Even if you are not a big fan of the sauce, its worth a visit. The self guided tour also includes admission into the Avery Island Jungle gardens.

This is well worth the time invested. Just a short 10-15 minute drive from US 90 in New Iberia. The factory tour was great, the food in the cafe was also great and reasonably priced. The best part of the experience is the drive thru the Jungle Garden. Beautiful landscaping, features, ponds. Plenty of gators to see on the drive. Remember, it needs to be driven slowly, stopping often and getting out of the car to see what is there. We saw gators both in the water and on land. GO SLOW AND LOOK, LOOK, LOOK!!!!
