It has been a couple of weeks since I have been on this tour. We saw very little wild life other than some dolphin, and most of our tour was consumed by our guide yelling at some people who were afraid to put the Craig cat at full speed. I wanted to see the 10,000 Islands and I chose this tour specifically instead of a wave runner tour because I am 50 years old and no longer have same stamina to jump boat wakes and waves. This looked like a nice backwater option with smoother water. Not true! Our guide decided to take us back to the start point by crossing thru the Gulf of Mexico. Our boats rise up high on the wave crests and then smashed down hard while crossing the Gulf. I called for the guide to stop but he either couldn't hear it or pretended not to. I tried to mitigate the shock to my body by lifting off the seat when we smacked down, but it didn't matter. Both my friend and I had lower back issues by the next day and two plus weeks later and two chiropractic visits later and I'm still struggling . My friend who is an avid cyclist and work out enthusiast recovered after about 10 days. Either way, it was a stupid call to drag us across those waves and I'm still ticked off about it and the $150 that I wasted. This tour has such good reviews and maybe if I was 20 or 30 and from out of state and never saw a mangrove it would have been fine but this was really a disappointing experience for us.

My 11 year old son and I set out at 8am with Jason as our guide. He was so helpful and such a nice guy. The family with us was very nice, as well. He explained the operation of the Craigcats, which are very easy to pilot, then we set out through the 10,000 islands. We saw several dolphins feeding, and stopped on a private island for rest and shelling. You can find shells like these at your hotel. On the way back, we saw more Dolphins, including a baby. We didn't see a manatee, but we did see a strange sight. There was a raccoon swimming between 2 islands a long distance apart. My son said it was the "rare Floridian aquatic raccoon". Jason informed us it's pretty common to see raccoons swimming in his tours. Overall, this trip was absolutely wonderful and we'd definitely go again. Zooming around on the Craigcats was a lot of fun for me, the animals were a nice bonus.

We had planned to do a wave runner tour until we discovered these Craig Cats. It was so much fun and so easy to pilot these boats. Our group was 16 to 61 and we all really enjoyed it. I'm 61 with knee problems and found getting into the craft and piloting it no problem. We flew among the 10,000 islands and spent about half an hour on an island to relax and shell. This was truly the best three hours of Marco Island visit. Highly recommend this adventure.
