Accompanied visiting family to Philadelphia on the tour, and completely loved it. I learned a lot about the city I live in, and the many untold stories of our women's history. We had a toddler on the tour with us, and Joey was patient with our group and her needs. Loved the experience!

My tour with Joey was equal parts educational and engaging! The stories of Philadelphia's female pioneers are incredible and deserve to be heard by all. Joey is a thoughtful guide and historian, presenting the past with honesty and care. His drive to question and challenge dominant historical narratives is evident and inspiring. Beyond the Bell is a refreshing and necessary force in understanding Philly history!

This is the second tour I went in with Beyond the Bell and it was just as amazing as the first! Joey is engaging and a great story teller who is very personable and makes you feel like the tour was designed specifically for you. Iā€™m so grateful for a tour that brings light to the stories of Philadelphiaā€™s women.
