We're both PhD historians! We're both from Penn! But this tour taught us about Philadelphia women we had never heard of-- and stories about women whose names we knew but didn't know their stories. We tend to always avoid tours and tour groups because ... we're not fifth graders. But Joey was extremely knowledgeable and was open to talking about the bits and pieces of historical trivia that we knew. It was lovely.

I absolutely loved this tour. Joey was so great and incredibly knowledgeable. Joey adjusted the tour based on our interests and made for the best experience. And the opportunity to learn history that you wouldnā€™t learn just check out the sites was such a unique way to see a new city. Every city needs a Beyond the Bell Tour in it! I canā€™t wait to go again!
