Battleship USS Iowa Museum

Battleship IOWA has been at the front line of protecting America’s Freedom and Security since 1943. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we are providing visitors an opportunity to experience special limited capacity outdoor fresh-air tours that comply with public health guidelines. Our Self-Guided Outdoor Tour Experience includes free use of our award-winning mobile app for a truly memorable experience aboard IOWA. Walk in the footsteps of sailors and hear there stories from three eras of service including WWII, Korean War, and the Cold War.

We had a fantastic time altogether. Seeing the history and majesty of this ship. I have now visited 3 of 4 of the Iowa museum ships.

My grandson wanted to go back to see the ship so we did. Again, it is a ship. A big ship. We can walk around it, take a tour, but you have other things to do, I suggest you do that. The history is sort of interesting. I learned it in the 4th grade. If you are not from the US, you may find it interesting. The people are nice. The pricing is way too high.
