Battleship USS Iowa Museum

Battleship IOWA has been at the front line of protecting America’s Freedom and Security since 1943. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we are providing visitors an opportunity to experience special limited capacity outdoor fresh-air tours that comply with public health guidelines. Our Self-Guided Outdoor Tour Experience includes free use of our award-winning mobile app for a truly memorable experience aboard IOWA. Walk in the footsteps of sailors and hear there stories from three eras of service including WWII, Korean War, and the Cold War.

The tour was great. Just The historical meaning of the BB justify the visit. Also the officers, veterans and army people are so kind and helpful for any request of your side.

This ship has seen a lot. We went on Monday morning, it was pretty quiet, lots of time to explore. Appreciate the volunteers sharing their knowledge and experiences. Totally worth supporting a piece of history.

The experience was interesting, definitely historical. It was amazing to actually see how big the ship really was. The staff that worked their are great, personable and knowledgeable, which made it a great even more enjoyable. You can get great photos as well.
