Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide. The food was fantastic! We were introduced to many ethnic food items and places that I otherwise would have missed out on. In addition to the food experience our guide gave us an insider's view of the changes taking place in the old neighborhoods - both good and bad. For example, our first stop was for a knish, which I'd never had. The building (in Manhattan at the start of the tour) of the restaurant had an amazing history but we learned that sadly, due to development, its days are numbered. We learned a lot of history, culture, etc. that only a native can provide.

Due to Hurricane Irene delaying our trip from Chicago to New York we had to contact the operators expecting the tour to be cancelled but instead they offered us the opportunity to change the date to suit us. We eventually did an alternative tour and the operator provided us a fantastic tour, we missed nothing and I am sure he gaves us more than he should have but we were very appreciative of his pleasant nature. You must not miss this tour.

This tour encompassed more than I expected. The food was excellent with a wide variety from different ethnic restaurants, plus some great history and sightseeing included. Our tour guide was very informative and fun. I never felt rushed. I would go on this tour again!
