Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Private Safari Tour

Overview

Thousands of mule deer, elk, moose, big horn sheep and bison migrate into the valley in search of food each year along with coyotes, fox, bald and golden eagles, swans, and even packs of wolves. This gathering of wintering wildlife makes winter one of the best times to view wildlife in Jackson Hole!

After a full morning in the field we will enjoy lunch together at a local eatery before heading back out for the afternoon. When available, we will take a horse drawn sleigh through the National Elk Refuge into the middle of the largest wild elk herd in North America. Following the sleigh ride, we will head back into the field to spot more wildlife.

Private safaris have no age minimum.
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

We had an amazing tour with Dave Green! He was very informative and colorful! We saw elk, sheep, moose, bison and an eagle! Dave was like having another friend with us! We would highly recommend this tour and having Dave as your guide.

Our guide Jeffrey was so awesome! So knowledgeable and fun. I didn't realize it's in an actual van with closed windows and doors-we brought way too many clothes haha. BUT the van was super comfy and the Tetons are just breathtaking. Jeffrey told stories and gave us snacks and water and let us use his telelense and binnoc's. So cool!
