Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Private Safari Tour

Overview

Thousands of mule deer, elk, moose, big horn sheep and bison migrate into the valley in search of food each year along with coyotes, fox, bald and golden eagles, swans, and even packs of wolves. This gathering of wintering wildlife makes winter one of the best times to view wildlife in Jackson Hole!

After a full morning in the field we will enjoy lunch together at a local eatery before heading back out for the afternoon. When available, we will take a horse drawn sleigh through the National Elk Refuge into the middle of the largest wild elk herd in North America. Following the sleigh ride, we will head back into the field to spot more wildlife.

Private safaris have no age minimum.
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all single day wildlife safaris. Cancellations made before the cancellation policy goes into effect will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of departure, and before the day of departure will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations or no-shows on the day of departure will not be refunded. We strongly recommend travel insurance in order to protect you from unforeseen travel interruptions that prevent you from joining us.

We had a wonderful day with our private guide, Jed. He was very knowledgeable about all of Yellowstone and showed us amazing sights. Best part was that we saw Elk, Bison, a Grizzly Bear with her three cubs and some pronghorn sheep! We would definitely do this tour again!! Thanks for an amazing experience!

Our guide Lee Ramella was amazing; friendly and super-knowledgeable . He knew everything about the area, and not only did we spot almost every animal we came to see (fox, coyote, moose, elk, bison) we learned a lot about each animal, and also about Jackson Hole and Grand Teton Park. I highly recommend the private tour, it does not disappoint.
