Best of Jackson Hole Wildlife Safari Tour

Overview
Thousands of mule deer, elk, moose, big horn sheep and bison migrate into the valley in search of food each year along with coyotes, fox, bald and golden eagles, swans, and even packs of wolves. This gathering of wintering wildlife makes winter one of the best times to view wildlife in Jackson Hole!

After a full morning in the field we will enjoy lunch together at a local eatery before heading back out for the afternoon. When available, we will take a horse drawn sleigh through the National Elk Refuge into the middle of the largest wild elk herd in North America. Following the sleigh ride, we will head back into the field to spot more wildlife.

**Sleigh rides are optional.

Ticked a lot of the animals off my list Fav moment was when bison were crossing the road right in front of us. Barry your a legend, went out of your way to try and find us that elusive bear. Jackson Hole Safari provided us with all day snacks as well as a beautiful picnic lunch. Again Barry keep doing what your doing and take care. Belinda & Dixie

My tour guide Grant was incredible. Not only was he very knowledgeable about the wildlife but also the history of Jackson Hole. I learned a lot from Grant. The bears were elusive the day we when out. There was still a lot of snow and they were still in hibernation. We did see many species of birds, bighorn sheep, elk, bison, and moose. Grant is a great photographer. And helped me get some great photos. I would highly recommend this company for anyone who wishes to see the best that Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons has to offer.

Our tour guide was exceptional with many years of experience regarding the area and where to locate wildlife. Everything was so easy from the initial booking, getting picked up where I was staying and having the day planned out. It was a worthwhile experience seeing bald eagles, moose, bison, coyote, sheep and elk. We had use of binoculars and a spotting scope for greater enjoyment. The sleigh ride into the elk refuge was a great visual and learning experience. This was a great day off from skiing!
