What To Expect

Kualoa Ranch

Established in 1850, Kualoa is a 4,000-acre (1,619-hectare) working cattle ranch that extends from the rugged mountains down to the ocean. The terrain includes dense rain forest, open valleys and white-sand beaches. Many areas of this natural paradise can be reached only on foot, horseback or all-terrain vehicle. You may even recognize the scenery as Kualoa Ranch has served as a set for Hollywood movies such as Jurassic Park, Pearl Harbor and Godzilla, and TV shows like Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I. and Lost.

My family of four had an amazing adventure recently when we did 3 different experiences on Kualoa Ranch. This place is awesome! We did the movie tour, the boat experience and the outback jungle tour. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and the whole operation runs like clockwork, from the moment you get picked up in Waikiki to the time you are dropped back home again! Make sure you plan for a full day out and be prepared as it is quite expensive but well worth every cent! The scenery at the ranch is out of this world and an absolute must see if you are visiting Ohao. So much fun also seeing where so many different movies have been shot. My children aged 9 and 14 both loved it as well. Maholo.

We had an amazing day at Kualoa Ranch, we chose the jungle expedition, movie tour and ocean voyage. Well worth spending a day here. Transport back to Waikiki, was worth the extra cost if you don't have a car. The buffet lunch was great, staff are wonderful. We cannot wait to come back

We loved this as a family, we did the 3 different tours each one of them different. our first was the cruise, looking for turtles, unfortunately did not get to see any. However, Jess our guide certainly made up for this with her knowledge, enthusiasm and passion. We loved it. Both the jungle and movie tour exceptional again our guides were great. we have absolutely no complaints. We would definitely recommend this to all.
