Fun tour! Nice sampling of food that is common or originated in Philly. Barry did an excellent job and also included many facts about Philly not related to food! Many opportunities to sit and chat with the other tourists which was fun!! Barry made a point to talk to each group and included everyone!

James did a great job giving us some great historical context and excellent bites. Our two boys seven and 10 enjoyed it as well.

This tour was delightful. It gives an overview of the culinary history of Philadelphia. You get a great taste of some of the quintessential Philadelpha foods. If they have more time, I would probably include tastykakes, the Wawa and the Italian Market. That being said, I was pretty full by the end of the tour so I'm not sure I could have eaten anything else! Our tour guide was Barry, and he was fantastic. Very energetic, informative, and patient. He has also given general tours of Philadelphia in the past so he includes a whole host of informational nuggets about Philadelphia along the way.
