Met with Dick this afternoon for this tour. He was amazing. The tour itself was interesting, but Dick's knowledge of the local products and the background stories / information he provided took the whole tour to another level. We had a small tour (only 4 people in total) which made it easier to speak and listen to Dick. Am not sure how it would be with a bigger group, but still worth the effort in my opinion. There is a lot of walking so I would strongly recommend proper walking shoes. Depending on what time you take the tour (we did the afternoon), you may not need much to eat for the rest of the day, so make sure not to eat much before you go!

This is a great tour, and Chuck is a super friendly, knowledgeable and passionate tour guide. The food is great too! I booked this tour after another food tour copany cancelled on me due to low numbers, and i was very pleasantly surprised to discover that WeVenture goes ahead with tours even with only one person. I had a wonderful private tour!

Very much enjoyed Best of Philadelphia Food tour with Nina. Our first stop was trying different kinds of hummus. It was delicious! Also to my surprise really liked the chocolate mint tahini milkshake, so good. I would say maybe incorporate a little more history of the city and some of the sights. Overall I would recommend this tour. Nina was very pleasant and made a great effort to make sure our group was comfortable.
