It was okay, just a few comments below: 1. Most of the buses do not have AC 2. Upper deck is most of the time full 3. there was this one commentator - his name is Jonathan (Bald guy). He was forcing the passengers to give tips before they go down for their stop. He literally stand in front of the door and will not let anyone pass unless they put something in. He even ask how much. I find it very inappropriate.

We brought the deluxe ticket which was for 3 days and included the circle line boat trip which took us round Statue of Liberty and back towards Brooklyn bridge... note, we also got the C3 city pass, which is a completely different thing....you pay to see any 3 sites from a selection of 7-8 and on there is a trip to the Statue of Liberty...paying for the deluxe bus ticket releases that option from the city pass therefore giving you another option on the City Pass. We used it mainly as a bus pass for getting around, not just for the sites. Each time we had a different guide, each with their own style and knowledge and always helpful. They are pretty frequent at their stops although at times theyā€™re difficult to find. Of course, everyone wants to sit at the top, especially if itā€™s warm, so, it leaves downstairs free....a few times we skipped the queue to sit downstairs and within a couple of stops, there was room upstairs, so we were on top deck as they give priority to those downstairs over those getting on at the stop. There have been mixed reviews on here, but if youā€™re pretty relaxed and open minded youā€™ll enjoy it. Itā€™s good value for money, you learn as you travel AND you avoid the underground...which we hate!

We decided to go on the Big Bus tour after much deliberation if it would be worth the money and time (3 / 4 hours to drive through Uptown and Downtown Manhattan. However, our tour guide John Harkins was an absolute legend... passionate, insightful and highly humorous. This gentleman made it all worthwhile!
