Your tour time will be assigned 5 days in advance of the tour date. Once a time is assigned we are not able to make any changes, please note your timed entry will be allocated by Alcatraz this will not be able to be personally selected
Hop-on Hop-off tour ticket is valid during operating hours for 48 hours after first use.

Guide was entertaining - dress warmly GG bridge is freezing - not the true hop On hop off scenario - not enough buses and long long lines at each stop so we stayed on until two Stops before the end to have lunch then we took Uber back to our hotel because we could not get back on the bus. Have used Hop On concept in Europe Boston New York and never had a problem getting onto a Bus. Tourist season on SF is insane - plan your trip in September / October better weather and hopefully fewer tourists

I originally chartered Big Bus Tours because it was one of the only ways to get on Alcatraz Island on short notice. However, the bus tour and the sunset tours were an unexpected surprise at how much I saw and learned about the city in such a short amount of time! The drivers and guides made it informative and entertaining. So worth it

Second visit to Alcatraz, this time with my daughter celebrating MOther's Day. Did nit get to see a demonstration of the opening of the cells but other than that the tour was good. Weather was chilly during our visit so did not spend much time outside. Definitely worth the visit but book tickets in advance or else chances of getting in are slim to none.
