To receive your Alcatraz Island Ticket you must check into the Big Bus Visitor Center one day prior to the Alcatraz Tour date, or before 9am on the date of your Alcatraz Tour.

Please note that the date you have selected is the date for your Alcatraz Tour.
Your tour time will be assigned 5 days in advance of the tour date. Once a time is assigned we are not able to make any changes, please note your timed entry will be allocated by Alcatraz this will not be able to be personally selected
Hop-on Hop-off tour ticket is valid during operating hours for 48 hours after first use.

Our tour guide Anthony was the best, funny, yet very knowledgeable of the sights. The attendant at the store where we picked up our tickets were very. very helpful as far as what stops to make so as to be sure we did not miss the Alcatraz Tour.

We did the live tour on Big Bus Tour with Blake, he was was so entertaining and kept us and our teenagers happy and interested, he was very informative and made us all laugh. If you're lucky to get a good live tour guide leader, this is an experience not to be missed. Thank you again Blake for a unique experience!!

Donagh provided a lot of good history during the tour bus. Join his trip and you'll learn how "sugar daddy" came to be 😊 Eddie is his driver partner. One thing I regret is forgetting to give tip 😑 Alcatraz is teeming with information. My personal observation though is that the storytelling makes you feel sympathetic to the prisoners...is that right or wrong, well, I don't know.
