The tour was phenomenal. This was my first solo vacation and Tour operator Jason did an excellent job of helping break the ice with other travelers. We quickly bonded and were comfortable with each other. Jason was super knowledgeable and his way of storytelling and information sharing was engaging and fun. Each stop was awesome and adequately timed.

Took this adventure with my adult son, his girlfriend and my wife. Prompt pickup and comfortable ride. Courteous and very knowledgeable driver (Thank you, Brett). The Ukulele background at lunch was a great touch. Brett went out of his way to way to find us a “non-crowded” spot on a Saturday! I can’t lie, I it is a long day, but you see and experience it all; that’s why they call it the BIG Island! Hope the weather cooperates for you.

I'm usually not one for superlatives, but this tour of The Big Island outshined all the outings I've taken in my lifetime. The company Wasabi Tours, provided a thoughtful selection of spots along the perimeter of the island. Visited a chocolate farm, lovely waterfalls, black beaches, the crater of an active volcano, a pass through cowboy country, turtles on the beach, island cities of Hilo, Kona, and an an assortment of smaller communities. Stopped at awesome views along the way and thankfully were blessed with abundant sunshine and overall great weather. However, the best part of the trip was listening to our guide Mia, a native Hawaiian who was so knowledgable about the island, its history, culture, geography, cuisine, myths, etc. Interesting to hear about her experiences growing up on the island as well as enjoying her lively narrative. I really came away from the tour with an appreciation for the locals, their traditions, and the overall magic that is Hawaii. Vehicle was great, easy to make arangements with the company and get help with pick-up in the early hrs. of the morning. I recommend doing this outing near the beginning of your visit so you can pinpoint places to visit later in your stay. Mia had many suggestions regarding places to eat which I would have found helpful had I been able to schedule the trip earlier in my stay.
