We were the last group for the day. Our activity stared at 2:00, with brief intros and getting rigged up. The drive to the actual location took about 15 minutes through plantation land. We were a group of about 12. The activity was supervised by Jack and Felicity who did an excellent job easing first time zipliners in. The lines are designed to get progressively longer and exhilarating, ending in the finale over the waterfalls. Our guides/instructors were very experienced and managed the activity very professionally while keeping it fun. Both were very knowledgeable about the local flora and fauna. We also got to sample bananas, passion fruit, sugarcane etc.

We went with a family of 3. We chose Skyline Eco having had a GREAT experience in Maui - Haleakala with the same company. The zip lines themselves were awesome on this experience (5 stars). The guides however were only average (2.5-3 stars). I'd really give this more of a 3.5 star rating. I guess having been on other Hawaiian excursions (Fluming, Haleakala zip line, etc.) we were spoiled by the tremendous native Hawaiian guides who have been knowledgeable, funny and engaging. The guides for this experience (who shall remain nameless) are all California transplants. They were knowledgeable but not nearly as funny and engaging as we have found the Hawaiians to be. Also, on the Maui zip line, the guides were taking pictures with their own cameras to post online and constantly offering to take pics with our cameras. These guides weren't nearly as proactive (no camera of their own and rarely offered to take pics - only when asked). Maybe our expectations were too high regarding the guides? Also, the trainee made a bad mistake with one of the guests. He forgot to unhook the safety tether and told the guest he was clear to go. So the guest went running and got yanked back. It looked painful and embarrassing. Again, the zip lines themselves were great.
