First, we were a family group of 8 ages 56 to 64 and had booked the first group of the day in advance. Our guides Jack and Mahi were patient with us and insured we had a great time. Do not excuse Skyline Eco as a activity for "old fogies", because the harness, cable and roller does NOT care how old you are :) . Helpful for firstime ziplining is the relatively short first line of seven. It allows you to get used to the harness and of trust in the equipment. The lines are strung so that you are so close to the trees it seems like you could reach out and touch them. Each one progressively longer and higher leading up to the trip over the falls. Jack and Mahi were knowledgable on Hawaii and the Hilo area specifically sharing some of it with us. It being hard to pick an activity from CA based only on internet information, Skyline Eco deserved to be one of three paid outings we picked as a group. (the only "dress code" is no open toed shoes.)

Colin and Aka were the most awesome guides! I felt safe and had SO MUCH FUN. Highly recommend. That last zip was breathtaking... still dreaming about it!

A wonderful experience. The guides were friendly and were very informative about the local farmland and culture. The views are simply stunning. The first two lines are just to get people comfortable, but the last two are worth the price of the entire activity on their own. You get to zip line over a small waterfall on the third line. The views from the last two lines completely catch you by surprise and are breathtaking. No issues with safety at all - the guides were very competent and always hooked you in safety and there was never any feeling that anything was not safe. We had an amazing time. This is something that locals never really think to do, but we were glad we did an island hop and went here - Kualoa Ranch on Oahu can't compare to this at all.
