The tour guide was very knowledgeable and held back nothing in Birmingham's position in the Civil Rights movement. The sites included in the tour all were very meaningful to the sad story happening within this city. I strongly recommend this tour to anyone who want to learn what happened and to see the sites associated with the events.

Knowledge, humor and passion are hallmarks of a great storyteller. Clay exuded these qualities while leading our group through Birmingham’s most significant sites of the Civil Rights movement. My husband and I have been on many tours and this one would rank at the very top in not only bringing to life what we had previously only read in the paper but in enhancing our understanding of the events happening both in Birmingham and the country as a whole. Practically speaking, this tour was both a walking and bus tour which included a bathroom stop. Unfortunately, it was a rainy day however umbrellas or ponchos were provided. During the tour, Clay consistently asked if there were any questions and always provided thoughtful, informed answers. We would recommend this tour in a heartbeat.

Clay was excellent. Friendly, knowledgeable and interesting. One of the best tours I have been on because of the guide.
