Overview

The Blue Heron Fleet was established in 1955 by Capt. Harry Nagel. The fleet has been family owned and operated with the third generation currently at the helm. Blue Heron offers excellent year round fishing at a great price.

The vessel is the largest and most comfortable in the area. Vessel is custom built aluminum drift fishers that meet and exceed the United States Coast Guard regulations. The cabins offer cushioned seating, settees for catering, and clean men’s and ladies restrooms. The Vessels are equipped with state of the art navigation and fish finding equipment.

The fare includes rod, reel, bait, tackle, and fishing license. The crews have years of experience ensuring your families safety and enjoyment. Blue Heron specializes in private charters for family, business, and corporate events with the options of fishing or cruising.

Crew was great they put us on a bunch of mahi mahi. Great experience for kids. I hooked a shark and got to fight for a while. All and all great experience.

Fun, family friendly day. We got on the boat and everything was taken care of for us. The kids had a great time. We will go again.

My husband took my son for his 9th birthday this weekend and the staff really helped to make it a special day. They announced that it was his birthday and kept checking on him to make sure he was enjoying himself. It was unusually cold that day and my son was wearing shorts and shivering. The staff lent him a long sleeved shirt to tie around his waist to help block the cold wind. My son came home beaming about “the best day ever!” This was his 2nd time on the boat (a repeat birthday gift) and he’s already looking forward to next year. A big thank you to the staff for making this a memorable experience for him!!!
