Keith sent a text the day before clarifying pick up time and description of his vehicle. He arrived exactly at the time stated and welcomed us with a description of next steps. We stopped at two other places to pick up more folks and off we went to the Blue Ridge Parkway. He offered plenty of snacks and water for all and even made a few bathroom stops throughout the morning. Overall, the day was a fabulous way to get a sneak preview of the many hikes and waterfalls in the area. We hiked about 3 miles max, on smooth trails, and saw three unbelievably beautiful waterfalls. What I really appreciated was the breadth of knowledge Keith had to offer about the history of the mountains, and the multitude of plants, mushrooms and other wildlife that exists throughout the areas we covered. Keith was genuinely kind and caring which made the day even better. I am so glad we were able to experience this tour and will definitely return for another waterfall experience again.
