Our naturalist tour guide Eli was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. She had such positive energy that our tour went by too fast. The fall foliage was at its peak and she took us on trails and overlooks where we were able to view waterfalls, streams as well as scenic views of the blue ridge mountains. The trails she brought us on were moderate to easy. She was very informative about the history of the forest as well as the trees and plants growing in it. I enjoyed the experience so much that next time I am in the area I will most likely book a private hiking tour.

From start to finish, Keith was an amazing tour guide. We got history of all aspects from the Biltmore to the Blue Ridge Parkway, lessons in forestry, personal anecdotes, and genuine interest in getting to know each individual guest. The scenic stops and drive through the state parks were beautiful. The hike was very manageable and enjoyable. Pictures did not do it nor the incredible waterfalls and streams justice. Snacks and water were provided and care was taken to ensure each guest was doing well. It made for an amazing trip to Asheville, and we could not recommend doing it more!!! Thanks so much, Keith! It was such a pleasure.
