Really enjoyed this trip to visit 3 waterfalls: Looking Glass Falls, Triple Falls, and High Falls. This excursion starts with a pickup at your hotel in a small van that fits approx. 8 people around 8:15am. The first part of the ride is about an hour and a half mostly on the Blue Ridge Parkway with stops for pictures. Keith is your personal guide who provides narration during most the ride about the history/development of the area. The first fall we visited was Looking Glass Falls - which is located right off the highway - no hiking required - just a few steps down a staircase to get a close up view. This was followed by another half hour drive to Dupont State Park where we hiked for a couple hours to see the other 2 waterfalls. Neither hike was very strenuous with the exception of walking up/down the stairs to reach the bottom of the falls and a few rocks to climb over to get to High Falls. Sufficient time was given to enjoy the falls and take pictures. We were lucky to have a beautiful day and perfect weather to enjoy being outside. We were back at our hotel by 1:30pm. I''m very happy to have booked this trip. Thanks, Keith!

We are very glad that you joined the tour and thank you for your comments! We do take several different tours that vary with weather, time of year, and trail conditions. In the area we visit there are over 250 waterfalls if you can imagine that. There are many beautiful areas in these mountains and we did get a beautiful spring day. Once again thanks and we hope to see you again in the future in you are in the Asheville area.
