Kristen was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the area and history of the happenings that occurred. She took us places we would have never thought to go see.

Thank you for writing this AWESOME 5 star review of our day trip to Plymouth from Boston. This trip includes so many places off the beaten path that our guests always enjoy. There is no better person to enjoy it with than Kristin as she is a walking encyclopedia of the area and is also a lot of fun! I'm glad that you enjoyed your day. Kind Regards, Stephen M. These mini-coach buses are the same buses we've used to take tens of thousands of guests on tours since our inception in 2011. My guess would be that a few of them were over 6 feet tall and wrote 5 star reviews! The AC in that bus also works perfectly fine. I apologize if our driver coughed. Sincerely, Stephen M. We really enjoyed the personal touch. Kristen told us she was going to show us the area as if we were visiting family members, and she delivered. It was like getting driven around by your chatty aunty - in a good way. Highlights of the trip included the Pilgrim Hall Museum in Plymouth and the Plimouth Patuxet living history museum. Our only criticism was the visit to the Pilgrim Memorial (also known as the National Monument to the Forefathers). It wasnā€™t so much the monument itself, which is a marvel of construction and an interesting (if uncritical) depiction of the early colonizers, but on the way to the monument, our guide played a long segment from the film ā€œMonument,ā€ which was basically an ahistorical, offputting, and frankly unhinged rant about how the Puritansā€™ peculiar approach to governance is the only path to liberty or some nonsense like that. It would have been so much better if she had either not played it at all, or at least prefaced it with a mention of how what we consider ā€œlibertyā€ as enshrined in our Bill of Right was in large part a reaction to the Puritansā€™ restrictive and at times violent way of life.

Thank you for the 4 star review of our Plymouth day trip. Your feedback is appreciated. I am sorry if you felt that the audio played by Kristin was out of place. It is certainly not meant to be any type of modern political statement but a sense of some of the beliefs that went along with the Monument at that time. I am glad that you enjoyed the rest of your time with Kristin. Sincerely, Stephen M. Belcastro President New England Trips Inc.
