Absolutely exceptional service from beginning to end! Lee the owner was friendly, responsive and very accommodating! He set up our tour to Maker’s Mark, Jim Beam, and the Four Roses in Bardstown area. Wayne, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and helpful! The tour was so much more personalized than what you will find with some of the other tour companies. I also was thrilled that they were able to do a tour for our party of two, versus other companies that require a minimum of four. In addition, lunch was included and our guide took lots of photos for us so we could remember the fun time we had! Thank you Wayne and Lee for making our first Kentucky Bourbon Trail travels so amazing! I will be recommending Travel the Trail to all my bourbon friends!

Do it! The tour is the way to do the Bourbon trail. Bob was our guide and Lee set up our itinerary. The van was great and Bob had water and snacks for our group. Picked up/dropped at our hotel. We went to Bulleit, Castle and Key and Three Boys Farm. Bulleit had the best tasting experience by far where you learned a little about the flavor profiles. Castle and Key had a cool distillery, but more of a tiny sample than a real tasting experience. Three Boys Farm was neat as you got to taste several and it was a barrel tasting. Bob is very knowledgeable about the area and a great conversationalist. He even stopped on our way back at a liquor store to help us pick out some great gifts to bring home. Terrific experience!!

We had a group of five and I’m thrilled that I booked our tour with Lee at Travel the Trail. He set our itinerary for both Friday and Saturday for two full days of bourbon tastings.We had the pleasure to have “ Bobby Trace” as our guide. He was always on time, informative and kept us on schedule. He purchased our lunches while we did the tours so we could get to an additional distillery. He shared his wealth of knowledge about the area and kept conversation flowing smoothly. In closing I would highly recommend this tour company.
