If you are headed to the Bourbon Trail look no further than Travel the Trail for your bourbon trail needs. From start to finish, and even then some! I worked with Lee for several months putting together just the right tour for my party of 6, Lee made everything work! Lee readily gave me advice on what distilleries to tour and which to taste, all the while making it work with timing ... which is not as easy as it seems! Rob showed up at our hotel on Thursday morning right on time! Prior to that he texted to let me know he was on his way. We began our tasting at Woodford Reserve which was an hour and half away. Rob was very knowledgeable and gave us all sort of knowledge along the way. We made great time so Rob drove us by Castle & Key and told us their story. A nice bonus. thanks Rob! From there we went and had lunch and Rob took us to a great place. Rob fit in so well with our group. We tasted next at Four Roses and while we were sort of underwhelmed with their bourbon (although I have a bottle on my bar) this was a distillery that sold me via their website. Plus the timing fit into our itinerary. We finished our day at Buffalo Trace and while we were touring and tasting Rob was kind enough to have the van parked in the shade and had it all cooled down by the time we headed back to the van. But it didn't end there! On our drive back to the hotel I told Rob that the next day we were going to be touring and tasting at Jim Beam (It's a must do if you are heading to the bourbon trail). The next morning I got a text from Rob telling us that he hopes we enjoy our day and to have a great time at Jim Beam! Now that is above and beyond! We texted back and forth throughout the day about our findings. In fact today, I got a text from Rob wishing us safe travels home! Great company to work with and great people!

We had an amazing time on our bourbon tour! Bob did a fantastic job as our tour guide and driver. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the area and distilleries. We visited Bulleit, four roses and castle & key. Lunch at blue grass sabor was delicious. The home made onion rings were very good. Don’t forget to try the bread pudding. Look forward to returning and having Bob as our tour guide once by again.

We came to Kentucky specifically to learn about Bourbon and of course sample a few. Travel the Tour was a great find as they really made the experience special. From the moment we first made contact, Lee the owner, was extremely helpful without being pushy. He made a number of recommendations but in the end we just gave him our dates and left the rest to him. On the day, our tour guide was Bob who was not only prompt and courteous but also knowledgable and great fun to be with. We visited a cross section of distilleries which gave us a good insight into the world of Bourbon and, best of all, we got to sample a few without having to worry about who was doing the driving. Thank you Lee and Bob for a great day. Graham & Edwina, Suffolk, UK.
