As many others have said in their reviews, this tour was very entertaining as well as a learning experience thanks to Nathanā€™s vast knowledge about the Kentucky river and the surrounding area, including the distilleries, historical sites and people. There is great history here!

Relaxing and informative tour. It was our first time going through a lock and it was fascinating. Thank you for a memorable trip.

in addition to the enjoyable boat ride and the very interesting historical information that Captain Nathan shared, we saw a coyote on the banks of the river and a large number of turtles which was interesting. We have actually lived in Lexington for the past 2 years but this was the first time we went on the tour. We thought it was very enjoyable and afterwards we drove up to the cemetery where Daniel and Rebecca Boone are buried. We had a little bit of trouble finding the place where we should board the tour because Google maps was a little confused because we did not specify the boat dock. Just make sure to navigate to the River View Park Boat Dock and you will get there easily. We highly recommend the trip. Next time we will allow ourselves time afterwards to eat in one of the restaurants along the river.
