This trip was a ton of fun. It is a must see for a theater buff! We learned the history of many theaters as we strolled along the district streets. We also went inside an off Broadway theater where we learned about the superstitions of history in the theater. ( very interesting) There was a small act where 2 people from the audience volunteered to Preform. Astrid, our tour guide was informative and obviously loved her job. I would recommend this tour for those that live in NYC and visitors.

Took this tour today. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this tour. Astrid was our tour guide and she did a fantastic job explaining the history behind the homes of many Broadway shows on and off Broadway. We went into the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood where famous shows make their debuts. We went behind the scenes with a tour thru an active rehearsal studio and a few in our group even got to act out a scene. What a fantastic 2 hours. I would highly recommend this tour. You will be glad you took it.

Such a great tour! The tour felt like it would be a great experience whether you're a local who frequents Broadway (me) or for tourists on their first trip to New York. I think of myself as someone who knows a good deal about NY theatre, and I learned so much. Our guide was very knowledgeable, having a theatre background, and covered topics as history, production, financing, theatres, composers, actors, current shows, etc. Well-rounded, informative, and very engaging! Highly recommend to anyone interested in the arts or history.
