My wife and I did the Inside Out Tours of the Brooklyn Bridge and DUMBO (down under Manhattan bridge overpass). The tour went for approximately 2.5-3 hours and we walked for all of it, with stops along the way. Our tour guide, Sarah, provided great insight into the history of the bridge and DUMBO location, with great theatrics to boot (she should be in a broadway show, really). She even provided great tips to navigate across the bridge, as yes, you may get run over by cyclists. Highly recommended to do, but yes, go to the restroom before commencing. You don’t get a chance during the walk.

This was a great walking tour across the Brooklyn Bridge and into the neighbourhood of DUMBO. Kevin was amazing, certainly knew his stuff and put it across to us in a very professional and entertaining way. Great history lesson of the Bridge - you would never know the half unless you did one of these tours! Great food recommendations also and lots of photo opportunities. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone visiting New York.
