Of all the parks we visited in Florida this was the most disappointing, was extremely quiet - great for getting on rides quick but seemed to be a complete lack of ā€œatmosphereā€ in the park . All the shows were closed , as were half the eateries - again appreciate it was quite but just seemed odd . Kids enjoyed the rides but after about 2 hours we had done everything and headed off ( and we werenā€™t the only ones ) Suppose we can say we went but if I returned to Florida would not be top of my revisit list .

We certainly regret to read that we do not leave a lasting impression on your recent visit to our park. We have forwarded your comments to our park leadership for their further review and improvement. Please be advised, our shows do vary per day, with our Turn It Up! Ice Skating show running every day at this time. We hope you can visit again soon and enjoy our attractions as well as our shows! - MM

Just got home after a visit to Florida and Busch Gardens was one of several attractions we visited. The staff on the whole were just ok, nothing like Disney 'bend over backwards attitude and smiley faces". Some of the staff and many who were of the older generation; were devoid of any customer service qualities. We went to one of the restaurants (party of 11) and the food was diabolical, and what they had was always covered in cheese.Asked one old lady serving for a coke, as it was listed on the menu;"no coke, came the reply. Can I have a coffee please."no coffee, you want coffee go to Starbucks!!! " Rudeness at its best. I must say was shocked to say the least. In another shop which was self service for drinks, I used the wrong disposable cup apparently, which I chose as it was the smallest size. A young girl shouted over you can't use that cup its for beer only ,i wanted a coke.I said sorry I"ll just use it anyway or the cup will be going in the bin, which is wasteful. She insisted I change the cup, I wish I would have stood my ground in hindsight.Anyway she was really rude when paying at the till, face looked miserable and her tone couldn't be anymore unwelcoming. This park will never have my custom again and I will certainly not be recommending it to anyone. Disney run parks may be a lot of things, but at least their staff are polite, welcoming and fun.And yes I know this is all a front for the customers for the majority of workers but at least it makes your customers feel more valued !!!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about your recent experience to Busch Gardens Tampa. Our guest's feedback is an incredibly valuable tool we do not take for granted. We regret to read you did not find value in your culinary experience. The hospitality that we show our guests has always been the hallmark of our park. There is never a reason for an employee to be rude or discourteous to any of our guests. We would like to assure you that this was in no way representative of our park or other team members. -MK

Spent the day with wife and two 18 y/os (daughter and her best friend). The weather hit 5 mins in and the rides shut down for about an hour, understandable with lightning. Once the weather cleared we set out. Girls had Quick Queue passes and helped them get to do the rides they wanted in the short time we had before closing. They enjoyed the rides and had fun but trying to navigate the park was awful! Many dead ends with no good routing signs. Several rides were closed and many places had signs saying under renovations. ALL the shows were closed! Very few animals were out. Eateries and souvenir shops began closing around 4 pm. Purchased the all-day dining passes and could only use them at the Dragonfire theater all the other places we tried to eat at said they didn't accept them. Very disappointed! Gets 3 stars only because the rides that we rode were good/fun everything else..meh.
