I was offered an incentive package as a veteran. I paid $160 for a dining package and arrived at the park on 7/9/2022. It took nearly an hour to pay the $30 parking fee and park the car. We got to the tram station and there was a line about 3 city blocks long to enter the cattle pens at the tram station. Of course the trams were not in service and that was merely a line to get on the admissions line which stretched about 1/2 mile to the ticket booths. We were told it would take about 3 hours to get to the admissions booths. We had been on line about 30 minutes and had just reached the cattle pen maze. We still had 3 hours to go just to get to the gates. As a 75 year old disabled veteran, waiting 3 more hours in the Florida sun with no water and no bathrooms was not an option. I tried to call for a refund but my first call was disconnected and my second has been on hold for 58 minutes and still waiting. My heart goes out to all the families who stayed on that line and I only hope there were medical emergenices caused by BG's incompetence and careless disregard for their customers.

Never in my life have I seen such a unprofessional way to treat people before they get into the park. There were no shuttle rides from the parking lot and it was over 90 degrees in the heat you were herded into one line like cattle to the slaughter. They claim that only one security line was used. Why? who made this decision to treat people this way should be terminated. 2 hours to get in the place on a not so busy day is unacceptable. Never ever should you go to Busch Gardens ever again.

As a resident of Tampa Bay since 1980, my family has been to Busch Gardens numerous time over the years. It has always been a favorite attraction for us. But! yesterday was a disaster. I don't write many reviews or rate anyone 1 star, but this is an exception. We arrived on Saturday morning about 10:30 to an extremely long line for the parking lot. After finally getting through the gate ($30 to park) we proceeded to the tram area for our normal ride to the entrance. Much to our surprised they had closed the tram and directed everyone to the line to walk to the entrance. We were told this was the security line and only two of their metal detectors were operating. To shorten this review, it took us almost 2 hours to get to the gate to enter the park. This was a complete failure on the part of Busch management! Everyone was completely disgusted and frustrated. By the way, this was not a sellout day. Inside the park was a normal Saturday crowd. I can't believe Busch could be so incompetent after all these years of crowd handling! As a sidebar, after reaching the gate we saw signs announcing the new entrance under construction. This was the real problem. They were not prepared to handle the morning crowd. And by the way, if you think you could avoid this mess by purchasing preferred parking forget it. They too had to proceed to the back of this long line! At least they were fair in punishing everyone equally. Busch Gardens you owe everyone a sincere apology and I hope you correct this unforgiveable situation.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent visit! We appreciate your continued loyalty and apologize for your recent experience during your visit. Please be advised, out tram system is temporarily delayed when our entry queue reaches our tram stops to prevent our guests from being dropped off at the beginning of this queue and having to walk back to the end. We are disappointed we did not meet the standards you have come to expect from Busch gardens Tampa. -MK
